📢 Important Update: New Revenue Registration Process for Tax Refunds
As of March 2025, Revenue has introduced a new digital system called e-Linking to enhance the security and efficiency of appointing tax agents. This affects how PAYE workers and self-employed individuals authorize agents like Ireland Tax Aid to manage their tax affairs.
🔄 What’s Changing?
Previously, appointing a tax agent involved signing a paper form. Now, with e-Linking:
-
Digital Authorization: You approve access via your Revenue myAccount (for PAYE workers) or ROS (for self-employed).
-
More Secure: Only you can authorize agent access, protecting your data.
👥 Who’s Affected?
This applies to:
-
PAYE Workers (using myAccount)
-
Self-Employed Individuals (using ROS)
If you’re already registered with us, you don’t need to do anything — unless you’re applying for new services.
